in addition to the penthouse, am studio was awarded the design commission for the condominium’s common areas. our studio sought to harmonize the interior with the architect’s exterior design as the solution to a typical multi-family design problem. often the user experience lacks a cohesive flow throughout the procession of spaces from public to private. by blending design languages, the resultant common area transitions well from streetscape to lobby, reception, vertical circulation, and inwards to each condominium unit. the interior architecture and design were carefully planned and curated to tailor each space with a “feel at home” environment.
